USFCA Club Running has won the 2024-2025 Rising Club of the Year Award from the Club Sports program at Koret Health and Recreation Center at the University of San Francisco!
Each year, one club sport is recognized as a club that displays teamwork and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the Club Sports community. They have positively represented USF Club Sports with excellent sportsmanship rapport and have succeeded in competition and/or its Clubs goals.
"Club Running is a fresh addition to the Club Sports family this year, and they’ve hit the ground running—pun intended—with focused recruitment, member engagement, clear competition goals, and active involvement on campus. Though relatively new, their impact on both the Club Sports community and the broader USF community is remarkable, making it hard to believe they were only established a few years ago. Beyond strong organization and leadership, their athletes compete at an impressive level, often facing off against NCAA competitors. The club also hosted a highly successful event for the entire USF community, drawing over 120 participants. We’re excited to see how they continue to grow and accomplish even more in the coming year."

"Carly joined her Club Sport in the fall and quickly went from newcomer to standout. She has become one of the top-performing athletes on the women’s competition team, bringing incredible drive, enthusiasm, and positivity to every practice and event. Her energy is infectious, and her commitment has made a lasting impact on the club in a short time. In addition to her athletic achievements, Carly is graduating Summa Cum Laude and plans to keep the sport an active part of her life after graduation—proof that her passion and dedication extend far beyond the course."
